Our values and goals

Our values

Safety

Thrive in a secure, orderly and non-disruptive environment

Quality

Have the right to a quality education delivered in a safe, enriching, creative and productive environment

Self-Awareness

Develop a positive sense of self-worth, and realize their greatest potential when they are aware of, and dedicated to the social and academic expectations being placed upon them

Accountability

Must understand and accept that they are responsible for their behavior and decisions. Parents must share the responsibility for teaching children appropriate and acceptable behavior within the school family. This is achieved by cooperative partnering and being held accountable for our individual actions, thus ensuring positive learner conduct.

Recognition

Are more successful when their mistakes are approached as learning opportunities, and efforts are positively recognized.

At SPDS, we seek to foster the best values that benefit both parents and students.

Our behavioral expectations

There are four primary behaviors that we expect from our students:

  1. Be respectful

  2. Be responsible

  3. Be safe

  4. Try our best at all times

Learner acknowledgement and recognition

Scholar Prep Day School has established a school-wide strategy that ensures all learners receive positive acknowledgement and recognition for demonstrating our Scholar Prep attributes. Positive acknowledgements occur at both the classroom and school-wide levels.
